• Several years of experience in group accounting or auditing
• Solid knowledge of HGB; IFRS experience is a plus
• Strong skills in Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g. proALPHA) and consolidation tools
• Structured and independent way of working
• A motivated team player with excellent communication skills and intercultural awareness
• Persistent and proactive in obtaining the necessary information
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken

Your mission:

Purpose of the Role
As a Corporate Accountant (all genders), you ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code). You will drive the continuous improvement of our consolidation processes and act as a communicative interface between our international subsidiaries and the headquarters. With your structured mindset and persistence, you will play a key role in further developing our group accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
• Further development and optimization of consolidation processes and tools (e.g. Excel, proALPHA, consolidation software)
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in group accounting
• Acting as a point of contact for subsidiaries worldwide on accounting issues and implementation of new accounting standards
• Participation in the preparation and audit of consolidated financial statements, including coordination with external auditors
• Close collaboration with the HQ accounting and controlling team and international offices
