Your mission

• Development of sourcing strategies and optimization of procurement processes
• Design, creation, and implementation of cost-saving programs
• Leading strategic negotiations and game-theory-based tendering in procurement
• Execution of procurement transformations (e.g., Total Operating Model, process modeling)
• Strategic analysis of material groups, procurement markets, and technical specifications
• Conducting strategic negotiations with suppliers (including monopolists)
• Preparation and execution of game-theory-based tender processes

Your profile

• Successfully completed degree in economics or engineering
• Proven multi-year professional experience in the procurement department (direct and indirect) of an industrial company or a consulting firm, including interim roles
• Operational expertise in negotiation and structuring of procurement processes
• Practical experience with turnaround projects in procurement is a plus
• Experience working with procurement platforms such as Coupa, Synertrade, SMART, SAP Ariba, etc.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English with a confident presence
• Strong analytical skills paired with a pragmatic, independent working style
• Willingness to travel: Four days per week at the respective portfolio company
