We are looking for a Automotive Key Account Manager / Client Engagement Manager (m / w / d) to join our team and work with our clients (OEMs & Tier-1s) to innovate on the total system solution.

As a client engagement manager, you will identify and build new business. You will reframing the client’s thinking and build consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.

  • Manage and expand strategic automotive accounts, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction

  • Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions, providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for investments in clients

  • Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to engage new clients
  • Develop compelling business cases to initiate contact with prospects in early sales stages

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding and background in Automotive Industry with a track record in the OEM / Tier1 environment
  • Good understanding of Automotive market dynamics and long-term industry experience
  • Ability to communicate with confidence to C-Level and Top Management contacts
  • Good understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with R&D teams
  • Ability to create market-specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutions
  • Understanding Microchip’s technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into client’s business and system requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms to enhance productivity, decision-making, and customer engagement
Qualifications And Experience
  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in a business and/or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Business fluent language skills in German and English
  • Relevant automotive market knowledge and industry experience
