A leading fusion energy company located in Darmstadt, Germany is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the commercial strategy and shape market positioning across Europe. The role involves building strategic partnerships, identifying markets for fusion energy solutions, and collaborating with technical teams to develop proposals. The ideal candidate has 3–8+ years of experience in business development, is fluent in German and English, and possesses strong analytical skills. This role supports the innovative fusion energy landscape in a highly collaborative environment.
As Business Development Manager, you will play a central role in driving the commercial strategy for one of the world’s most innovative fusion energy companies. You will help shape Focused Energy’s market positioning, commercial partnerships, early customers, and ecosystem strategy across Europe and beyond.
You will work closely with leadership across Technology, Commercial, Government Relations, and Strategy to secure partnerships, funding opportunities, and commercial pathways for fusion-based energy solutions.
