TASTE SUCCESS | As Business Analyst, EMEA, you’ll be the analytical backbone of our regional team - connecting data, performance, and business outcomes across markets.
Performance Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key KPIs (e.g., revenue, ROAS, CAC, AOV, retention).
- Analyze campaign, business and channel performance (paid media, organic, affiliate) and deliver actionable insights to local and global teams.
- Support weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews with data visualizations and narrative reporting. This includes key moments and promotions, e.g. BFCM.
Forecasting & Planning
- Partner with Regional & Global Finance, Operations and Commercial Managers to support market-level forecasts, sales plans, and demand models.
- Model various growth and pricing scenarios to inform expansion, promotional, and inventory strategies.
- Contribute to annual and quarterly budget planning cycles with robust data analysis.
Market Research & Competitive Insights
- Conduct regional market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Build AI-powered analytic tools to provide self-service mechanisms to stakeholders in markets.
- Track competitor activity to inform strategic positioning and commercial decisions.
- Translate consumer and category insights into actionable business recommendations.
Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Alignment
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance, and IT to document business needs for new tools or process improvements.
- Translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to uncover opportunities and align on priorities.
Process Design & Optimization
- Map and optimize key business processes (e.g., order flow, fulfillment, returns, customer service).
- Leverage AI to scale across teams and markets, and drive speed in analysis and reporting.
- Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, or manual tasks and recommend automation or efficiency solutions. Drive parity across markets in analysis infrastructure and tools.
- Define standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure process consistency across markets.
Technical Integration & System Support
- Act as a bridge between technical and business teams for integrations between Shopify, ERP, CRM, and other platforms.
- Validate data flows and configurations to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Participate in UAT, troubleshooting, and post-launch validation for new tools or data pipelines.
A/B Testing & Experimentation
- Contribute to design and analyze A/B or multivariate tests across site, marketing, and merchandising touchpoints.
- Evaluate test outcomes for statistical significance and business impact.
- Recommend next steps and communicate learnings across teams.
Data Governance & Quality Assurance
- Monitor and maintain data integrity across systems and reports.
- Develop data definitions, standards, and governance frameworks for regional reporting consistency.
- Establish checks and alerts to flag data anomalies or issues.
Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Projects
- Deliver deep-dive analyses to diagnose performance drivers and identify growth opportunities.
- Build scenario models and “what-if” simulations for expansion, pricing, or marketing strategies.
- Support special projects such as new market launches, promotional events, or performance turnarounds.
Reporting & Insights Communication
- Create executive dashboards and visual reports for leadership and country teams.
- Translate complex analysis into concise, actionable storytelling.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Change Management & Training
- Document and communicate system or process changes to impacted teams.
- Develop training materials and run sessions to promote data literacy and adoption.
- Act as a change agent for data-led decision-making across EMEA.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in business analysis, strategy, FP&A, or eCommerce analytics roles (preferably in consumer goods or DTC).
- Strong proficiency with AI tools, Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).
- Experience working with large datasets and tools such as Shopify, GA4, and Meta Ads Manager.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication abilities - able to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry are a plus.
