Area Manager (Logistics) opens immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of the key teams in the logistics center: inbound, storage, picking, packing or shipping.
• Ensure smooth workflow and exceed customer expectations.
• Manage a team of about 80–120 staff, train, integrate and develop motivation and performance.
• Maintain high process quality and achieve KPI goals.
• Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity and improve service quality for customers within your area.
• Analyze shift schedules, implement operational excellence measures.
• Collaborate with leadership to standardize shift procedures.

Qualifications

Basic

• University, FH or equivalent degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Leadership experience.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders, including colleagues and leaders.
• Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to justify business decisions.
• Willingness to work flexible times and shift work.
• Advanced German and English proficiency.

Preferred

• Experience with Lean, Six‑Sigma and Kaizen methods.
• Experience in a different logistics environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
