Copenhagen Coffee Lab is a hand‑craft coffee roastery, wholesaler, cafe and bakery chain founded in 2013. Since 2013 we have marked our presence in Denmark and throughout Europe with 35+ cafes in Denmark, Germany, France, and Portugal.


We’re seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our crew. At Copenhagen Coffee Lab, we believe that success comes from a strong team. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager with day‑to‑day responsibilities, overseeing staff, and ensuring our guests receive an unforgettable experience. Whether you are already experienced or just starting your leadership journey, we welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds who are eager to make a difference.


Responsibilities


  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues that require attention.

  • Manage schedule changes, employee call‑ins, and other staffing matters to maintain smooth operations while Store Manager is not present.

  • Step in for absent employees, ensuring the business continues to run seamlessly.

  • Lead by example and serve as a role model for the team, consistently providing exceptional service and attention to detail.

  • Delegate tasks to employees and keep day‑to‑day activities organized.

  • Conduct trainings and provide one‑on‑one guidance to employees, in collaboration with the Store Manager.

  • Resolve disputes between employees, fostering a positive and harmonious work environment.

  • Motivate employees to perform at their best, recognizing and encouraging their achievements.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, upholding hygiene and safety protocols.

  • Provide updates to the Store Manager and collaborate on operational responsibilities.

  • Assist in managing tasks assigned by the Store Manager to drive overall success.

  • Cover all Store Manager responsibilities during their absence, ensuring the Store operates smoothly.
