DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.

  • The Distributor Sales Department is in charge of the sales to independent Distributors in the territory of Daikin Europe NV.
  • The Distributor Sales team is located in Brussels.

Your function

The main responsibility of the Area Sales Responsible is to develop the business together with our network of distributors. Once you master the operational support, you will grow into a role where you become the expert of your market. With your knowledge on your distributor(s) and market(s), you define and execute mid and long term commercial strategies. This role will allow you to get to know the ins and outs of Daikin Europe NV to allow you to progress into our organization.

In this function you will :

  • Establish a strong partnership with your distributor(s)
  • Build a profound knowledge of the local markets and its players.
  • Prepare, plan and implement commercial strategies and action plan (sales route, pricing, marketing, ...).
  • Support the distributors locally in : Dealer events and exhibitions Product Launches Securing key projects and key accounts
  • Follow-up of the actual results versus the budget, including keeping an eye on the operational & planning flows determining the results (market demand, forecast, payments, quality, …)
  • Travel – up to 25% of your time.

Your profile

  • You havea Master in Economics or Commercial Engineering; or you already acquired a first professional experience in a similar function.
  • You are an independent worker who is stimulated by new challenges, full of initiative, pro-active and you are always ready to grasp new opportunities.
  • Above all, you are communicative - definitely in English. Other European languages are a plus.
  • We are looking for candidates with an analytical mindset, a strong commercial attitude and a sound interest for technological products.
