Apprenticeship Coach - Management and Team Leader Standards

Remote Based / Salary: £35k - £38k

Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Quality focused Training Provider who deliver training within a number of global companies / household names.

Due to ongoing growth they are looking to add a number of new coaches to their Apprenticeship delivery teams. Specifically they are recruiting Specialist Leadership and Management Apprenticeship Coaches.

These are home-based / remote roles, with some flexibility required for travel – although this would be rare.

As an Apprenticeship Coach you will be a subject matter expert in Leadership and Management, managing a caseload of learners on the L5 Management (OM) and L3 Team Leader Standards.

You will deliver some knowledge-based workshops as well as coaching workplace skills application and supporting apprentices to build a robust portfolio of evidence. You will deliver the end-to-end learning journey and be responsible for their learning experience.

Some of the L5 Management Workshops are delivered by speciailist Trainers in 'Master-Classes', however applicants still need to be able to deliver Management sessions at this level.

The Role
  • Deliver high-quality inductions and set clear programme expectations for learners
  • Tailor support through analysis of initial and diagnostic assessments
  • Set and review SMART targets on assessment plans with timebound goals
  • Facilitate workshops and workplace coaching aligned to apprenticeship standards
  • Support learners in applying knowledge and building robust KSB portfolios
  • Provide regular assessment, constructive feedback, and performance reviews
  • Deliver Functional Skills within the first 6 months of the programme
  • Ensure timely learner progression and achievement of completion milestones
  • Coordinate seamlessly with trainers to support learner outcomes
  • Maintain attendance records, communicate workshop invites, and manage scheduling via Aptem
  • Gather learner feedback and reflect on it to improve the learning experience
  • Champion positive learner destinations post-apprenticeship
Candidate Profile
  • Assessor qualification (D32/D33, A1, or CAVA)
  • Extensive leadership and management experience
  • Experience delivering at Level 5
  • Level 3 team leadership experience
Desirable (Not essential)
  • Level 5 teaching qualification
  • Experience in retail or manufacturing sectors
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Verification/quality assurance qualification (D34, V1, TAQA)
