The Debt Advisory team offers independent, objective advice to clients on debt capital markets and financing solutions across the full spectrum of capital structures. The team operates across sectors, with a dedicated focus on Energy & Infrastructure as a key vertical.

Role Overview

The group is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join their Debt Advisory team, with a primary focus on transactions across the Energy & Infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will play an integral role in advising clients on complex debt financings, refinancings, acquisition financings, project finance, and capital structure optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and modelling to support debt structuring, credit analysis, and capital raising processes.
• Prepare client presentations, lender materials, term sheets, and transaction documentation.
• Undertake in-depth credit analysis and assess relevant financial metrics (leverage, coverage ratios, cash flow profiles, covenant analysis, etc.).
• Support the execution of financing mandates, including lender and rating agency presentations and coordination of due diligence.
• Track and analyse market trends in debt capital markets and relevant regulatory developments in the Energy & Infrastructure sectors.
• Collaborate with the team's sector and M&A teams to deliver integrated advisory solutions to clients.
• Assist in preparing client pitches and marketing materials for new business opportunities.

Key Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, credit advisory, or debt capital markets. Experience in Energy & Infrastructure transactions is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, credit analysis, and debt structuring.
• Familiarity with financing structures such as bank debt, private placements, term loans, high yield bonds, and project finance.
• Solid understanding of Energy & Infrastructure sectors, including regulatory frameworks, key market players, and transaction structures.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
