• Shape the future of AI at Knauf by guiding global business units and markets in turning high-potential ideas into impactful, AI-empowered solutions
• Build and evolve governance practices that ensure AI is trusted, transparent, and compliant — while enabling innovation rather than slowing it down
• Act as the connector between countries, functions, and teams, fostering collaboration that transforms local initiatives into scalable global successes
• Drive AI projects end-to-end, from exploration to rollout, ensuring they deliver measurable value, stay aligned with strategy, and create lasting impact
• Champion responsible innovation by combining forward-looking product thinking with strong governance, unlocking opportunities for Knauf and its customers worldwide

Who you are

• Bring extensive experience in AI strategy, governance, or product/project leadership, with a proven track record of delivering ambitious ideas into real-world results
• Possess breadth of knowledge of AI technologies, data pipelines, and model lifecycles, translating technical insights into business value across diverse teams and markets
• Combine regulatory expertise (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, risk frameworks) with an innovation-driven mindset that sees governance as an enabler, not a barrier
• Excel in international, cross-functional environments, fostering collaboration between business, legal, and technical stakeholders to drive alignment and momentum
• Embody curiosity, collaboration, and a future-focused perspective, inspiring others while contributing to Knauf’s global journey toward responsible and impactful AI
