Join us as AI Artist at Goodgame Studios!

We’re looking for an AI Artist who can help define and execute AI-driven visual production for a new game in development. This role is about building systems, workflows, and content, not just individual assets.

AI is a core part of our production approach - but always combined with traditional tools and artistic judgment. Your responsibilities will evolve as the project progresses, so flexibility and curiosity are key.

YOUR MISSION

• Use AI as part of end-to-end visual production, from concept to final assets
• Design, build, and maintain AI pipelines for image and video generation
• Combine AI outputs with Photoshop, After Effects, and video tools to reach production quality
• Support both in-game assets and marketing/communication visuals
• Continuously explore and integrate new AI tools, models, and workflows
• Collaborate closely with game design, art, and marketing as development needs evolve

YOUR PROFILE

Game Art Background

• Proven professional experience in game development
• Portfolio showing real in-game assets (e.g. characters, buildings, environments, props) from actual projects

AI & Pipeline Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with AI-driven visual production
• Advanced ComfyUI expertise, including:
  • Building, debugging, and optimizing complex workflows
  • Custom node setup, dependency management, and troubleshooting

Image & Video Generation

• Strong understanding of image and video generation pipelines
• Character consistency workflows (LoRA, reference-based / ControlNet-style setups)
• Image-to-image and image-to-video pipelines
• Upscaling and basic post-production workflows

Production Tools

• Production-level Photoshop skills
• Working knowledge of After Effects

Technical & Infrastructure

• Experience running AI workloads on cloud GPUs (e.g. RunPod)
• Ability to rapidly prototype scripts or tools using AI-assisted coding (Cursor, Claude, etc.)
• Comfortable iterating on code via natural language prompts and solving problems pragmatically

Mindset

• Highly adaptable, hands-on system thinker with a fast learning curve
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication across technical and creative topics
• Strong visual judgment and production mindset

Nice-to-Have

• Basic video editing (Premiere Pro or similar)
• LoRA training and workflow automation
• Familiarity with 3D or multi-view → 3D pipelines
• Experience creating marketing or social media content
