As an Accounting Lead, you'll take full ownership of our end-to-end accounting processes, from bringing bookkeeping in-house to ensuring compliance across Germany and our international markets.

You'll be a key finance partner in a fast-growing company, laying the foundations for scalable and efficient accounting operations. • Own our end-to-end accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidated reports, ensuring clarity and compliance
• Lead the full in-house transition of our bookkeeping, taking responsibility for monthly and year-end closings
• Manage VAT and income tax declarations, ensuring regulatory compliance in Germany and beyond
• Continuously improve accounting processes, evaluate tools, and implement smarter, scalable solutions
• Serve as the main contact for external partners like tax advisors, auditors, and external bookkeepers, ensuring smooth collaboration

• Solid knowledge of German GAAP and tax regulations, especially VAT and income tax

• Comfort working in an international environment and collaborating across functions and borders
• Full professional fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
