Zusammenfassung

A leading reinsurance company in Hannover is seeking an experienced Accountant for the Reinsurance Accounting and Payment Transactions team. The ideal candidate should have experience in billing, strong communication skills, and proficiency in both German and English. You can look forward to
  • Processing and checking incoming reinsurance settlements
  • Preparing outgoing reinsurance settlements, including determining the figures to be settled
  • Current account processing of incoming and outgoing payments
  • Processing and preparation of claims notifications including technical sanction checks
  • Correspondence and coordination with internal and external customers worldwide
  • Collaboration in working groups and projects for the digitalisation and further development of processes
You come equipped with
  • Experience in billing and current account processing, ideally of (re)insurance contracts
  • Completed commercial training in insurance, banking, accounting or tax - alternatively, you have further training as a business administrator with a corresponding specialisation or a business degree
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office, in particular very good knowledge of Excel
  • Very good knowledge of German at a business fluent level
  • Good knowledge of English, which you can use confidently, especially in writing
  • Strong understanding of financial interrelationships
  • Independent and structured way of working with high quality standards
  • Strong communication skills and enjoy working together and engaging in constructive dialogue in interdisciplinary teams
  • Willingness and curiosity to familiarise yourself with new IT technologies and tools
