About the Job

In this role, you will own theend-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) cycleat WLX. You make sure that all vendor invoices are processed correctly and paid on time, creating the basis for reliable financial data and smooth collaboration with our partners and internal teams.

In your first months, you willtake over all AP transactions and processes, understand our workflows, and get fully familiar with our accounting tool Scopevisio. Step by step, you willtake full responsibility for the AP cycleand support our monthly and annual closings.

• Proven experience in Accounting/Finance, ideally with a strong focus onAccounts Payable
• Academic degreein Business Administration/Economics/Finance or a commercial/accounting apprenticeship
• Hands-on experience withAP transactions, payments and reconciliations
• Good knowledge ofHGBandVAT rulesrelated to vendor invoices
• Confident withExcel and/or Google Sheets
• Fluent German and very good English skills(written and spoken) are a must
• Experience withScopevisio, DATEV or other accounting toolsis a strong plus
• Strongprioritisation skills, especially during peak periods and around closing
• Akeen eye for detail and accuracyand a structured, reliable way of working

This is what you'll do

• Manage the complete Accounts Payable process– from receiving invoices to payment and reconciliation
• Process and post all incoming invoices on time and according to HGB, including correct VAT treatment
• Maintain accurate vendor records(master data, open items) and reconcile vendor accounts and the AP subledger
• Prepare and execute payment runs(e.g. SEPA, foreign currency) and ensure proper approvals and timely payments
• Support monthly and year-end closings(e.g. reconciliations, accruals, AP-related analyses)
• Monitor payment reminders from vendors, clarify discrepancies and find pragmatic solutions together with internal stakeholders
• Identify inefficiencies in AP processesand suggest improvements – ideally supporting automation and digital workflows
• PrepareAP-related reports(e.g. vendor overviews, payment forecasts) to support planning and decision-making
• Support travel bookings and occasional office management tasks(e.g. coordinating bookings, ordering supplies)
