ACCEL Schools is hiring a highly qualified 3rd Grade Teacher at Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio, dedicated to providing a superior education for all students for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. About The Opportunity:

Responsibilities include:

1. Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify during the school year
2. Differentiate instruction to meet all students' needs
3. Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development
4. Use research-based best practices in daily planning and instruction
5. Manage student behavior in the classroom
6. Create a positive learning environment
7. Utilize curricula reflecting students’ diverse backgrounds
8. Implement school-wide culture expectations
9. Communicate with families about academic and social-emotional growth
10. Incorporate technology into daily practice
11. Participate in planning and non-instructional activities
12. Collaborate with colleagues
13. Perform other duties as assigned

About You:

1. Active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
2. Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
3. Comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Ability to manage confidential information
6. Supervise students in various settings
7. Pass federal and state background checks
8. Experience in an urban environment
