A leading mining company is seeking a Technical Services Manager for their Blackwater Mine site in Canada. The successful candidate will lead the technical services department, focusing on mine planning, environmental compliance, and safety measures. Preferred candidates have over 15 years of experience in mining operations and a Bachelor's degree in related fields. This role offers a competitive salary and a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Technical Services Manager is responsible for leading the Technical Services department. This includes Mine Engineering, Geology, Survey, Strategic Business Planning, Site Reporting, and general technical integration across the asset. This role plays a key role in supporting the entire mine site with a strong link to the General Manager/Operations manager, corporate, and future planning for the operation.
This position is expected to demonstrate and promote Blackwater Gold’s eight (8) behavioural standards. The behavioural standards should be considered when developing the positions key responsibilities and deliverables, qualifications and experience, and skills.
Location: Blackwater Mine Site - located 160km southwest of Prince George
Schedule: Three (3) Weeks On - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation
