Master Electrician — Solar Projects Lead (Canada)
Job summary
A leading solar energy company is seeking a Master Electrician to oversee electrical compliance and support solar projects across Canada. The ideal candidate has strong solar installation experience and a Master Electrician certification, with the ability to sign permits in multiple provinces. Responsibilities include reviewing electrical permits, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, and mentoring junior staff. Qualifications
- Ability to review and sign electrical permits in AB, NS, ON, and NB.
- Understanding of PV systems, inverters, disconnects, and commissioning.
- Solid knowledge of applicable Canadian Electrical Code requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical oversight for residential and commercial solar projects.
- Ensure compliance with provincial electrical codes and AHJ requirements.
- Lead safe work practices and mentor junior electricians or solar technicians.
