We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst who can lead analytics for our function. You will use Grafana as a platform to produce analytics about Grafana Labs documentation artifacts to leverage data - including user behavior and customer feedback - to inform documentation strategy, development, and continuous improvement. This role bridges internal and external user needs with business goals by partnering with technical writing managers, and engineering and product managers, to analyze performance, uncover opportunities, and ensure documentation delivers measurable value and achieve success.
Internally, we want to better understand how users learn and progress through our software and its accompanying documentation and learning products, and we use our own stack to get that done, as well as to teach others how to do similar things. This role will partner closely with our self-serve cloud, analytics, and engineering departments and report to our Manager, Documentation Platform in an all-remote team of documentation platform engineers and technical writers.
You will be joining a platform team of two engineers within the documentation team that builds tooling and automation for the presentation and interactivity of our documentation and learning. We work in the R&D part of the organization, alongside product managers and engineers. The aim of the role is to help measure what makes documentation effective for user success and sharing our knowledge and experience to the open source community. Grafana are leaders in writing open documentation and we think we want to share how we to measure and make effective documentation.
If working at the intersection of analytics, knowledge management, and open source software is something you’re excited about, we’d love to hear from you.
