Job summary

A leading laboratory service provider in Northwestern Ontario is seeking Sample Preparation Technicians to prepare samples for analysis. This role involves unpacking, sorting, and processing mineral samples while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma and strong attention to detail. This position offers a 12-hour shift rotation of 4 days on and 4 days off. The expected end date for this position is April 2026.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 25 kg consistently.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Must be flexible to work day and night shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Unpack, sort, check, crush and pulverize mineral samples using specialized equipment.
  • Safely follow standard operating procedures and perform quality control checks as required.
  • Enter sample data into computer, ensuring accurate details.
