Job summary
A behavioral health service provider in Belleville, Ontario, is looking for passionate Mental Health Technicians to ensure the safety and well-being of residents. Responsibilities include supervising medication procedures, preparing meals, and maintaining dignity for all residents. Candidates should have experience in mental health care and open availability. This position offers both full-time and part-time shifts with various schedule options.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
- Cook and serve meals following the posted facility menu.
- Complete items on the facility Chore Sheet as directed.
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Supervise all resident medication procedures and document narcotic counts.
- Conduct daily chart documentation.

Job Skills / Requirements
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
- Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
- Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
- Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
- Daily chart documentation
- Experience working with Mental health clients is preferred.
- Open Availability a MUST
- A valid Texas Driver's license or ID
- Certifications are not required for this position.
- First Aid CPR training
High School Diploma / GED
