A municipal government in Peel Region is seeking an experienced administrative professional to coordinate the Processing Centre. Responsibilities include managing evidence processing, ensuring compliance with privacy legislation, and supporting regulatory operations. Ideal candidates should have experience in a regulatory environment and proficiency with MS Office. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $69,080.00 to $92,107.00.

Qualificações

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a regulatory, enforcement, or evidence processing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides coordination and administrative support to the Processing Centre including but not limited to coordinating daily image uploads, ensuring file transfers to and from the Ministry of Transportation are complete and accurate.
  • Ensuring that unpaid Penalty Orders are compiled and sent to the Ministry of Attorney General's Defaulted Fines Control Centre. Coordinating workflow to enable Provincial Offences Officers/MLEO's to review and validate ASE images.
  • Maintaining daily audits of data harvests (images from cameras), revenue controls, payments to and from the Province, reconciliation of customer payments and disposition of disputed matters.
  • Ensures that all documentation is complete, correct, and traceable, contributing to audit readiness and legal transparency.
  • Processing payments from Service Ontario, transactions with the Ministry of Transportation, compiles statistical reports and tracks transactions.
  • Conducts research and prepares purchasing requests and Requests for Proposals/Quotation for ASE equipment or operational needs.
  • Maintains records and oversees the ASE Processing Centre records in accordance with Provincial legislation, ARIS Agreements and Record Retention Bylaws.
  • Oversees invoicing, accounts payable, postage and MTO suspense accounts, supplies ordering, equipment servicing and maintenance.
  • Provides supports for statistical reporting, audits, equipment and camera status reports, monthly activity analytics reporting and quarterly variance reporting.
  • Responds to enquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner utilizing knowledge of legislation, bylaws, policies and procedures by phone, in-person and in writing.
  • Is the primary liaison between other City Divisions, the Provincial Ministries of Transportation and Attorney General's Office for the ASE Processing Centre.
  • Ensures that all infraction data is handled in accordance with privacy legislation, internal policies, and secure data management practices.
  • Processes as necessary ASE Images as a backfill when MLEO Officers are unavailable or absent ensuring legislated timelines are maintained.
  • Prepares evidence, case summaries and disclosure packages for Part III Notices and ensures digital or hardcopy transfer to Provincial Offences Courts and/or Administrative Penalty System staff.
  • Provide a high degree of accuracy when reviewing and validating license plate details, timestamps, evidence and location metadata.
  • Independently assesses whether the evidence is sufficient and investigates anomalies in data or irregularities in evidence and determines appropriate action or escalation.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders such as IT, Legal.
  • Manages agreements including the MTO Authorized Requestor Agreement, Service Level Agreements with vendors, vendor contracts and equipment servicing frequencies.
  • Identifies operational gaps and proposes refinements and participates in pilot tests and change initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a college diploma in law enforcement, public administration, legal studies with a minimum 3 years experience in a regulatory, enforcement, legal or evidence processing environment or minimum 5-years experience in a regulatory or Administrative Penalty System environment or high-volume processing operations.
  • Certification or appointment as a Provincial Offences Officer under the Provincial Offences Act (or the ability to obtain certification upon hire).
  • Above average proficiency with MS Office. Proficiency with Gtechna Software is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation to technical evidence.
  • Strong proficiency in using digital case management systems, enforcement databases and dashboards and Microsoft Office software.
  • Demonstrated experience with reconciliation of revenues and data utilizing sound accounting principles and audit control protocols.
  • Strong written communication and report-writing skills with an emphasis on accuracy, clarity and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated skill with spreadsheets, forecasting, identifying trends and ASE volumes or driver behavior changes

Hourly Rate/Salary: $69,080.00 - $92,107.00
