What is the opportunity?

By applying for this position, you are applying to multiple marketing roles within the RBC Marketing Team. Potential marketing roles include support for Youth & Young Adults, Cards, Loyalty, Investments, and more.

In the role, you will report into the Senior Marketing Manager, and will work closely with a highly specialized team of marketers, agency partners & business partners to deliver innovative campaigns and programs. You will help with the development & execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement and other critical business results.

What will you do?
  • Help support the creation of engaging marketing campaigns, leveraging your creativity & innovative thinking by contributing to the planning & delivery of enterprise-wide marketing initiatives.
  • Support the marketing team in the execution of various marketing campaigns, content, advisor support tasks including, but not limited to:
    • Working with internal teams & agency partners to support the creative process (development, review, etc.)
    • Ensuring campaign execution timelines are met and all components are deployment-ready in a timely fashion.
    • Reviewing in-market components and providing a point of view on improvements.
  • Act as a partner to and liaise with internal business partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current processes.
  • Provide strong marketing governance, including assisting with monthly reporting cycles and related account reconciliations and standards of documentation.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Currently enrolled in (and returning to) a Canadian post‑secondary institution with a focus in marketing, communications, psychology, sociology, or another related discipline.
  • Strength in working collaboratively within teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal & highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong project management & organizational skills & ability to multi‑task.
  • A basic understanding of external marketing channels.
  • A strong desire to learn while moving projects forward.
  • Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice-to have
  • Ability to proactively analyze results & provide thoughts on how to improve campaigns.
  • Curious & Creative.
  • Passion for learning & innovating.

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end‑date.
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e., you are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully.
