Responsibilities

1. Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing of the project.
2. Identify project tasks and resource requirements working with the project team.
3. Plan, schedule, and manage project timelines, dependencies, and milestones through the use of a project plan.
4. Identify, assemble and coordinate project resources.
5. Prepare and manage project budget.
6. Use various project management tools and software applications to proactively track, monitor and control project deliverables.
7. Manage the triple constraint (time vs. scope vs. cost).
8. Prioritize and delegate project tasks, providing timely direction and support to the project team on a day-to-day basis.
9. Proactively manage project risks, including the identification of mitigation strategies.
10. Perform project reporting & communications (Including weekly status updates and/or Exec Steering Committee meetings).
11. Challenge performance gaps of project team members and provide coaching/mentoring support.
12. Facilitate meetings and design workshops, testing activities, and post go-live support keeping a keen eye on quality.

Qualifications

1. 5 - 8 years proven experience in a project management role in system implementation.
2. 2 - 3 years experience in implementing Technology solutions in Supply Chain, especially in warehousing (i.e. SAP WM, Manhattan, JDA), transportation, replenishment, preferably in an Omnichannel Retail environment.
3. Solid supply chain knowledge, especially in Logistics.
4. Ability to work independently, deal with ambiguity, and shift gears very quickly with changing priorities.
5. Strong focus on on-time, on-budget, on-scope delivery, targeting excellent customer/client service.
6. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to influence.
7. Ability to engage with Director/VP level at both external clients and internal clients (i.e. operations) during projects.
8. Strong planning, organizational and keen attention to detail, but also able to see the big picture.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team environment; some experience managing staff is an asset.
10. University degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or equivalent.
11. PMP certified or working towards designation.
12. Proficient in MS Project.
13. TRAVEL: Required to various sites across the GTA.
14. May occasionally be required to work off hours (evenings/weekends) to meet project commitments.
