Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a clear vision for the youth ministry that aligns with the mission and values of BP Church.
  • Facilitate engaging and relevant programs that foster spiritual growth, community, and discipleship among youth.
  • Provide leadership, care, and mentoring to our youth leaders and students, helping them grow in their faith and leadership abilities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with students, offering pastoral care and spiritual guidance.
  • Lead, recruit, and develop a dedicated team of youth staff, volunteers, and the worship team, ensuring they are equipped and supported in their roles.
  • Encourage a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Oversee all administrative, budgetary, and promotional components of the youth ministry, ensuring effective management and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and communications related to the ministry’s activities.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive care strategy for parents, offering resources, support, and opportunities for involvement in the youth ministry.
  • Facilitate strong partnerships with parents to support their role in the spiritual development of their children.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the Calgary Youth Drop-In Centre, ensuring it is a welcoming and impactful space for youth in the community.
  • Collaborate with community partners and church leadership to maximize the centre’s reach and effectiveness.
  • Participate in and contribute to other church-related activities and duties as required, supporting the broader mission of BP Church.
Experience Required

A successful candidate must have 2-3 years of ministry experience in a larger church setting, formal theological training, and a passion for next-gen and connections ministries.
