As a Workday Financials Lead - FDM/Accounting, your responsibilities may include:

  1. Managing teams in gathering business requirements, designing processes, prototyping, testing, training, and support procedures.
  2. Planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies.
  3. Developing statements of work and client proposals.
  4. Managing vendor relationships.
  5. Leading client workshops and managing project resources and budgets.
  6. Serving as escalation point for critical issues.
  7. Providing subject matter expertise for decision-making.
  8. Mentoring project staff and conducting client sessions to analyze requirements.
  9. Architecting cohesive Workday Financials solutions considering cross-functional impacts.
  10. Advising clients on industry standards and best practices.
  11. Demonstrating design options through prototyping.
  12. Applying Workday and Accenture methodologies.
  13. Updating the Project Manager on project status.
  14. Managing client and stakeholder relationships to meet project goals.
  15. Supporting innovation with new methods and assets.

Requirements:

  • Workday Financials Partner Certification.
  • At least 4 years of consulting experience, including a lead role.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience.
  • Experience in Canada/US and/or global financial operations.
  • Eligibility for a US work visa within 8-10 weeks.
  • Bachelor’s degree or related college program.
  • Proficiency in English, necessary for communication within multi-national teams.

Bonus points for:

  • Proficiency in multiple business processes (PTP, OTC, GL, FA, etc.).
  • Over 4 years implementing Workday Financials.
  • Experience with other cloud financial applications (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Advanced degrees or CPA designation.

Compensation varies based on multiple factors. For roles in British Columbia, the annual salary range is $91,400 to $209,900. Benefits information is available here.
