A respected environmental consulting firm is seeking field monitors to conduct wildlife mortality searches near various locations in Alberta. The role involves physical outdoor work requiring attention to detail and communication with project managers. Applicants should be motivated, physically fit, and possess a valid driver's license. A competitive wage of $22.00–$25.00 per hour is offered, depending on experience. Opportunities for fieldwork vary, with some positions requiring up to 40 hours per week. NRSI is looking for multiple locally situated, motivated and independent individuals to conduct field monitoring activities, primarily conducting wildlife mortality searches at operating wind or solar energy facilities across Alberta.
We are hiring for multiple locations and positions in Alberta:
These positions provide an opportunity to gain experience in visual bird and bat identification, to implement scientific methods, and to collect and analyze data employing a high attention to detail. These positions will report to one of NRSI’s Renewable Energy Project Managers or Field Coordinators. There are two different types of positions available with different work hour expectations:

Project sites in Alberta near Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Edmonton. Relocation or accommodation costs will not be reimbursed for primary job duties.
$22.00–$25.00 per hour commensurate on experience.
