Job summary
A leading welding company in Caledon is seeking qualified candidates for welding roles. The ideal candidate must have a secondary school diploma and be able to interpret welding specifications and blueprints. Experience is considered an asset. The role is permanent, requiring 35 to 40 hours per week with English as the working language.
Qualifications
- Interpret welding process specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
- Determine weldability of materials.
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
