Warehouse Worker in Calgary, AB

This position is for Full Time - Day Shift scheduled within store hours :

  • Monday – Friday : 7 : 30am – 4pm
  • Saturday : 8am - 12pm, will occasionally work Saturday as needed.
  • Sunday : Closed
Primary Responsibilities
  • The position performs day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control and general administrative functions.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of all products in the facilities and help maximize sales by efficiently receiving product deliveries, restocking the facility and shipping to customers.
  • Ensure back room is organized to support receiving, storing and shipping of stock.
  • Check incoming merchandise against bills of lading and invoice for accuracy.
  • PPC provides training on how to operate machinery such as hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts. Once trained, must be able to operate with or without reasonable accommodation safely.
  • Able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone with or without accommodation.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of current residence with no restrictions and an acceptable driving record.
  • Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus and stable job history.
  • Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
  • Understanding of basic math skills.
  • We ask that you can stoop, kneel, crouch, lift and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to use and drive an order picker a must.
