Overview

Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and includes services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

Note: Anticipated Start Date: October 1, 2025. Location: Syncrude Aurora - Fort McMurray, AB. Shift: 7/7. Accommodation: Local candidates preferred, but camp may be available. Hourly Rate: $49.31 (Exclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, pension, and education and training).

Summary

The Warehouse Journeyman is responsible for management and maintenance of the shop, tool crib, and supplies for projects.

Responsibilities
  • Ship and receive materials and equipment
  • Organize materials and tools for the worksite
  • Maintain cleanliness in the shop and tool crib
  • Present missing/overdue tool reports to supervision
  • Maintain equipment and tools
  • Create requisitions for replenishing low stock
  • Mark new equipment with marking tool
  • Knowledge of heavy industrial service materials and tools, and their proper handling, storage and preparation for work sites
  • Experience in equipment and tool maintenance, with some related training preferred
  • Good knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and repair (mechanically inclined)
  • Ensure equipment and small tools are maintained and visual and annual inspections are done as required
  • Perform visual inspections of tools before releasing from/accepting in tool crib
  • Various shop maintenance duties will be required
