Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the Unit Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of patient care, coordination of nursing staff and resources on all shifts, facilitating patient flow, maintaining data accountability and acting as a steward for developing and facilitating the family-centered care approach with the Women & Children's program. This position will be focused in the obstetrical department but will include some cross‑unit coverage.
The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and the Ontario Nurses Association (RN Bargaining Unit Local 051).
Successful External applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past six (6) months.
