Job summary

A national sport governing body located in Toronto is seeking a Team Manager for the U17 Women’s National Team. The role involves managing all logistics necessary for training and competition, including equipment inventory, transportation, accommodations, and meal coordination. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The position is contract-based for 16 weeks, running from March to July 2026.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a team environment is an asset.

  • Be administratively sound and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all activities necessary for team training and competition.
  • Ensure necessary equipment is available for training and games.
  • Assume control and inventory of team equipment.
  • Coordinate all activities related to transportation and accommodations.
  • Travel coordination for local and international events.
  • Ensure team needs are met on-site regarding accommodation and meals.
  • Communicate game results to Canada Basketball Office.
  • Assist coaching staff with logistical tasks.
