A leading health service provider is seeking a Transport Operator in Charlottetown, PE. Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, assisting clients, and ensuring hygiene standards. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and a valid Class 4 driver's license. Previous experience and First Aid training are assets. The position offers an hourly wage of $22.73 - $25.50 plus 12% in lieu of benefits.

The Transport Operator is responsible for the safe operation of IEMS vehicles and movement of clients/patients requiring assistance. The Transport Operator must constantly monitor clients/patients and exercise tact, diplomacy and customer service. The role may involve heavy traffic and congested streets. The operator must remain alert, manage personal well-being for long drives, operate during peak periods and cope with adverse weather, construction and traffic conditions. This position includes providing first aid services as needed.
