Job Title: Training Specialist - Refinish

The Refinish Training Specialist acts as a key liaison, providing crucial communication between the Regional Training Leader and Training Instructors. The main responsibility is to deliver standardized training programs through training centers to internal and external customers.

  1. Deliver face-to-face training and webcasts.
  2. Provide guidance, goal setting, and development for Training Instructors.
  3. Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  4. Network with business, customers, and training teams to assess and deliver training.
  5. Maintain training data dashboards.
  6. Ensure consistency of training delivery using approved content.
  7. Create and update training schedules.
  8. Support industry events when appropriate.
  9. Contribute to content development as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  10. Plan and schedule regional training activities.
  11. Perform customer demos.
  12. Implement training organizational goals.
  13. Collaborate with national and regional training resources for continuous improvement.
  14. Gather and act on classroom feedback.
  15. Manage product inventory at training locations.
  16. Support regional strategies for product and color.
  17. Align with sales and business initiatives.

The role also involves managing the security, safety, and operation of the training site, including contracts, equipment, inventory, and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with Axalta standards.

Must Have:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years paint application experience in automotive alignment.
