This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or entirely remotely within Canada.

Vena Solutions is looking for a Training Specialist to join our Customer Training team. An ideal candidate will be someone who can deliver a best‑in‑class training experience for Vena, including customers, partners and internal employees. The trainer will be responsible for facilitating live (primarily remote) instructor‑led sessions and webinars, and for helping develop and maintain training materials and processes. You will also assist in identifying and prioritizing training needs at Vena and support the creation of internal and external resources to continue building out and extending our current training offerings.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Facilitate live (primarily remote) instructor‑led training and webinars to customers, partners and internal teams with a focus on improving Vena product mastery.
  • Utilize principles of instructional design, technology, and adult learning theory to design learning curriculum, tools, or other instructional resources.
  • Create, revise, and edit high‑quality training materials using a variety of formats to support and continually improve the customer journey.
  • Demonstrate subject‑matter expertise and best practices in the Vena product, seeking opportunities to upskill product knowledge via product updates and releases.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including Product & Technology, Customer Success, and Marketing, to align training programs with organizational goals.
  • Communicate best practices across the team to promote continuous development of training initiatives related to customer implementations.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date training records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Partner with Training Operations to respond to internal and customer inquiries, provide support through the learning inbox, and assist with learner and session management.
  • Travel (as needed) to client events and site visits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 2+ years of experience in training/consulting, preferably within a SaaS‑based environment.
  • Strong presentation skills both live and on camera/audio, with the flexibility to match style to audience persona.
  • Able to apply adult learning theories to classroom situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technology in a clear, concise, and effective manner for a wide range of audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and leading web‑based meetings.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to various audiences within the organization (diverse individuals, groups, and levels of expertise).
  • Great mindset for identifying ways to improve existing processes to support scalability and growth.
  • Eagerness to learn and proven ability to quickly adapt and learn new software programs.
  • A motivated self‑starter with a high energy level and the ability to work independently within team projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly within instructional content.
