Duties & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to support our existing Global Trade team. You will assist in processing Broker inquiries to ensure the timely import of VIAVI shipments, including preparing and reprinting necessary shipping and customs documents. The role requires a responsible worker with the ability to work independently.

  • Process all US and Canadian import-related activities in daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal customs regulations.
  • Handle standard export shipment inquiries, trade fair goods, and Carnet ATA.
  • Process monthly Broker reports in the VIAVI ISA import record retention system.
  • Collaborate with related departments and external bodies to prevent freight delays.
  • Perform other functions necessary to support US and Canadian imports.
Prerequisites / Skills / Experience
  • Certified Customs Specialist or equivalent training with professional experience in import and export processing.
  • Detailed understanding of import / export processes, regulations, and documentation in accordance with customs formalities.
  • Initial experience in import control.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong teamwork skills, reliability, and ability to work independently.
