Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in tile setting with a strong focus on quality.

Responsibilities

Overview:

Responsibilities:

1. Spread and apply adhesives like mortar, cement, or glue with a trowel.
2. Mark and measure surfaces to prepare them for tiling.
3. Carefully place tiles and press them down to ensure they are secure.
4. Cut and trim tiles with hand or power tools to fit around edges and obstacles.
5. Adjust and align tiles using tools like levels, squares, and straightedges.
6. Fix tile strips in place to complete installation projects.
7. Apply grout between tiles and remove any excess material.
8. Arrange and install mosaic tiles to create decorative designs on walls and floors.
9. Repair and replace tiles that are cracked or damaged.

Requirements:
1. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
2. Some high school, college or industry courses in tile setting

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours a week

Experience: 3 years

Starting date: As soon as possible

Pay: Salary $36/hour
