A healthcare trust in North West England is offering an exciting opportunity for a Therapy Assistant. The successful candidate will support Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in delivering treatment and rehabilitation interventions to patients. A strong background in healthcare, NVQ level 2 in a relevant topic, and good communication skills are essential. The role requires flexibility and the ability to work independently. This fixed-term position offers 7.5 hours of work per day across a 5-day week, covering maternity leave.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Transfer to Assess Team.
We are looking for a Therapy Assistant to work 7.5 hours a day across a 5‑day week for a fixed term until 06.04.26 to cover maternity leave.
The post holder will be working within the Transfer to Assess Team and will support the Physiotherapists/Occupational Therapists in providing treatment and rehabilitation interventions to patients.
You will be expected to have a good standard of general education including maths, English and basic computer skills. Recent and relevant experience in a health care setting is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will show a good awareness of patients needs. We are looking for someone who is flexible and enthusiastic. This is a physically demanding role.
It is essential to be able to show initiative, to work effectively without direct supervision and to take responsibility for delegated duties, under the guidance of a Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist.
