Job Title: Territory Sales Representative – Energy, Oil Sands

Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta

Victaulic, founded in 1919, is a global leader in grooved mechanical pipe joining and flow control solutions, with operations in 140+ countries and over 4,000 patents. The company serves multiple industries and offers products, engineering design support, and services for piping solutions.

Role

Victaulic is seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative to join our Energy team, focusing on the Oil Sands sector. This onsite role involves engaging with Owners, Engineers, Fabricators, Contractors, and Distributors, fostering relationships, and driving sales within the local Oil Sands network.

Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Call on Oil Sands Owners, Engineers, Fabricators, Contractors, and Distributors to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Community Presence: Represent Victaulic within the local Oil Sands community. Previous onsite exposure in Oil Sands projects is preferred but not required.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales cycle, from identifying new projects and opportunities to overseeing installations and providing follow-up support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Oil Sands Metro Team, located in Fort McMurray and Calgary.
Travel
  • Travel is approximately 20–25%, primarily within Alberta, including Fort McMurray, Edmonton, and Calgary.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the Oil Sands or related industries.
  • Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on consultative selling and client collaboration.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Oil Sands industry is a strong asset but not mandatory.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Salary: $75 – 95k (based on experience) + (car, uncapped commission & bonus)
