Territory Sales Manager, Livestock
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, le Territory Manager est responsable de la g e9n e9ration de ventes dans les clients de b e9tail d e9j e0 existants en b e2timent et d'acquisition et d e9veloppement de nouveaux clients dans une zone g e9ographique donn e9e, afin d'atteindre les objectifs globaux de ventes.
Responsibilities
- Collect and share pertinent information about competitors with the Sales and Management team
- Share information collected during Customer visits with the Sales team
- Recommend changes in products, services, and policies after evaluating results and competitor developments
- Challenge customer beliefs to drive behavioral changes and help their business grow
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with the Swine Industry's veterinary services, live production staff, and executives, through management, oversight and administration of all sales and service aspects related to Ceva's Canada livestock business
- Co-develop annual sales forecasts with Sales and BU Managers for key brands/products with customer decision-makers
- Manage and prioritize activities to meet Territory Objectives per the Territory segmentation
- Schedule appointments, create Sales presentations, close deals, and take Customer orders as needed
- Prepare for sales per the defined Sales Process
- Differentiate Ceva offers to support market leadership and growth based on customer needs
- Interact with veterinarians and key decision-makers to promote mutual benefits
- Investigate customer problems to develop potential value-added opportunities
- Execute Ceva solutions with appropriate resources and drive customer satisfaction
- Quantify the impact of customer problems and position Ceva solutions accordingly
- Ensure close collaboration among Ceva teams supporting territory Key Accounts
- Negotiate with local Buyers according to Commercial Policy
- Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager when negotiating with larger Buying Groups
- Complete required administrative tasks and keep the customer database updated
- Complete accurate call reports in the CRM and report on market changes
- Contribute to team results via strategic product development
- Influence Veterinarians and other Decision-Makers to recommend Ceva products
- Educate at Veterinary practices to drive behavioral changes and create impact
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and recommending solutions
- Undertake other duties as required

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years proven outside sales experience preferred; minimum proven success in a fast-paced B2B environment
- Clean driving record; willing and able to spend several hours per day in a vehicle; overnight travel required
- Bilingual English/French is a plus
