Responsibilities
  • Safe and efficient operation of telehandlers to meet scheduled targets
  • Hoisting formwork, loading, unloading and movement of various site materials in high traffic areas and confined areas
  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
  • Maintain equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
  • Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience operating a telehandler
  • Must hold a valid telehandler ticket and demonstrate competency through a practical assessment
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and part of a team
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean 3-year driver’s abstract, CSTS-2020 Fundamentals and WHMIS 2015
  • Must be willing and able to complete labouring duties when required
Work Conditions
  • Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day with potential overtime required over the summer months on the weekend
  • Must we willing to work nightshift 18:00-4:30
  • Work in all weather conditions year-round and willing to lend a hand where needed
