  1. Estimate costs of installing equipment
  2. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
  3. Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
  4. Prepare sales or other contracts
  5. Promote sales to existing clients
  6. Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
  7. Identify and solicit potential clients
  8. Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  9. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
  10. Deliver sales presentations
  11. Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
  12. Conduct sales transactions
