Overview
Team Member role for a fast-paced food service establishment in Vancouver. The position offers LMIA and PNP options. Base pay range is CA$18.50–CA$20.00 per hour. Full-Time, Permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet and serve customers promptly and courteously; take orders accurately and handle payments efficiently; address inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Food Preparation & Quality: Prepare and serve menu items according to company standards; ensure safe storage, handling, and serving of food; maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations; work with team members and supervisors; assist with training and onboarding of new staff when needed.
- Operational Support: Stock supplies and manage inventory levels; follow daily opening and closing procedures; adhere to company policies and food safety regulations.
Work Schedule
- 8-hour shifts (day, evening, and morning)
- Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the Food & Beverage industry (Canada)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry (outside Canada)
- English proficiency (minimum CLB 6)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
