Responsibilities
  • Working closely with a Partner or other senior tax staff in preparing elections, objections, and representations to tax authorities.
  • Liaising with tax authorities during audits and responding to requests for information.
  • Assisting partners and senior staff in compiling client information for special tax projects.
  • Providing tax enquiry support to both clients and internal professional staff.
  • Preparing corporate and personal tax returns.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience (preferably in accounting/finance/business).
  • Previous experience in tax-related roles.
  • CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program completion would be an asset (not necessary - if you do have this, the salary will increase).
  • Excellent computer skills and a demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new computer programs.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
