Job description

Overview

We are seeking a Supply Chain Integrator to support the implementation of SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) by SAP Ariba’s buyer and supplier customers. You will provide consultative guidance regarding the technical components of the Ariba Network connectivity solutions. The work is project-based, following the SAP Activate adoption framework (Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy). You will support multiple buyer customers concurrently and apply your experience to deliver SCC integration on future assignments.

Your role includes gathering customer requirements, crafting a system design to meet those requirements, implementing the design into software solutions and enhancements, testing, and preparing the system for productive use. You will investigate and resolve issues during testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a SCC product expert, bridging customer requirements with SCC core functionality and Ariba Network (cXML) specifications.
• Provide expertise on Ariba Network integration options, including SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway and third-party or customer-built solutions.
• Advise on functional configuration changes or customizations to integrate with SAP Ariba SCC to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with SAP Ariba teams, buyer customers, suppliers, and partners to support customer success and satisfaction.
• Own projects from start to finish with the flexibility to manage timelines and deliverables; travel up to 30% as needed.
• Lead customer engagements to gather requirements, design solutions, test, and deploy integrations.

Business process expertise

You should bring strong supply chain knowledge of procurement and payables processes, including:

• Subcontract purchase order
• Scheduling agreement
• Consignment process
• Supplier-managed inventory (SMI) / Vendor managed Inventory (VMI)
• Logistics management including quality management
• Invoicing and payment
• MRP and IBP supply planning

Qualifications

Minimal qualifications

• Three to five years of professional experience in software or business consulting across industries.
• University degree, preferably in business or technical field.
• Knowledge of EDI and ANSI X12 / UN/EDIFACT.
• SAP ERP experience with focus on:
• SAP MM (Purchasing, Forecasting, MRP)
• SAP SD (Sales Order, Deliveries)
• SAP QM (Quality Management)
• ABAP skills – IDOC, Proxy, debugging

Preferred technical qualifications

• SAP SCM – SNC and/or SAP IBP experience
• XML-based standards, DTDs and XSDs
• Knowledge of communication protocols (VAN, AS2, HTTPS, etc.) and security concepts (digital certificates)
• Familiarity with Ariba Network, SAP Ariba cloud applications, or integration tools (SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration)
