About the Role

Colanar, an Addtronics company, is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Supply Chain Coordinator to join our growing operations team. This role is ideal for a professional with 0–5 years of procurement, supply chain, or operations experience who has been exposed to best-in-class purchasing practices, ideally within a large manufacturing environment, and is ready to apply that knowledge in a dynamic, fast-growing company.

Colanar specializes in high-precision equipment for pharmaceutical and life sciences applications. In this role, you will manage key aspects of the supply chain including purchasing support, vendor communication, inventory tracking, and shipping/receiving. You’ll be hands-on with maintaining accurate counts, preparing stock for jobs, and supporting procurement activities, while contributing directly to projects that enable innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date material and product data within inventory systems.
  • Perform regular inventory counts, update spreadsheets, and resolve discrepancies through root cause analysis.
  • Support the full procurement life cycle
  • Pick and prepare stock for jobs and operational needs (e.g., printing drawings, labeling bags, staging parts).
  • Provide purchasing support by calling vendors, obtaining pricing, and tracking spend.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, tracking, verifying deliveries/shipments, and following up with vendors when parts are delayed.
  • Track incoming and outgoing stock, including partial receipt of POs and backordered parts.
  • Review incoming parts against drawings/packing slips and confirm revisions.
  • Support the full procurement lifecycle from sourcing to purchase order execution.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support long-term supply chain stability and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, finance, and logistics teams to support supply chain efficiency.
  • Implement cost management strategies that improve company margins without sacrificing quality or delivery timelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cost, shorten lead times, and improve quality.
  • Execute cycle counts/inventory audits to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Leverage prior exposure to robust procurement systems and supplier management best practices to enhance operations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
  • 0–5 years of procurement, supply chain, or operations experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to formal procurement processes, supplier management programs, and ERP/MRP systems within a large manufacturer.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor relationship management, and communication skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
  • Interest in advancing into senior procurement or operations leadership roles over time.
