About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Distribution, the Supervisor, Distribution is responsible for the management of Coke Canada drivers and the effective distribution of Coca-Cola product to our customers. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the Supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising a team of distribution employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
  • Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
  • Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
  • Manages drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked
  • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues
  • Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communication between functions
  • Manage and audit team member's timekeeping
  • Manage within labor and OPEX budget, while respecting budgetary constraints
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and training for development of the distribution team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or experience deemed equivalent is required
  • 1-3 years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
  • 1-3 years experience of supervisory experience required
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
  • Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred
  • Familiarity with department of transportation regulations
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evaluations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
  • Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervision
  • Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools
