ClaimsPro LP – International Programs Group Subrogation Examiner – Full Time (Anywhere in Canada)

International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third‑party claims administrator which provides claims services for Lloyd’s of London syndicates, domestic insurers, self‑insured entities, or organizations with high deductibles or self‑insured retention.

We have an existing opportunity to add a Subrogation Examiner to our team! Working within a team environment, the Subrogation Examiner will be responsible for contacting and following up with clients, third parties and insurers regarding the collection of deductibles, claim recoveries, overpayments and other subrogation related activities.

Role Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients/brokers/third parties/external vendors/experts/law firms/counsel via phone, email, and letter regarding the collection of deductibles, claim recoveries, overpayments and other claim related financial handling
  • Creation and drafting of correspondence/reporting
  • Accurately enter claims and financial data in various client databases
  • Time entries into internal time tracking system
  • Creation and updating of various spreadsheets
Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for someone with a demonstrated and proven track record of performance. You will be strong technically, a solid planner and organizer, and understand key issues plus provide solid solutions. You will have to be motivated to do this type of work and be excited by the challenges it provides.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years subrogation or litigation experience
  • Strong knowledge of subscription based insurance policies
  • Confident with large loss claim handling
  • Strong legal knowledge and understanding
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Preference given to applicants with auto and property claims adjusting experience
