Echelon Structural Engineering is a growing structural consulting firm in Moncton that provides clear, practical solutions for commercial, institutional, provincial, and federal projects. As our workload increases, we are expanding our team and looking for a Structural Technologist who brings strong technical skills, initiative, and pride in their work.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Structural Technologist located in Moncton, NB. The Structural Technologist will be responsible for preparing and reviewing structural engineering drawings, assisting in the design and analysis of structures, conducting fieldwork to assess project requirements, and collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery. Additional tasks include ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations, and contributing technical expertise to support project goals. This role offers an opportunity to take on more responsibility over time, including leadership within the Technologist team for those who demonstrate consistency, accountability, and technical excellence.

Tasks
  • Produce accurate drawings and models in Revit and AutoCAD from early design through final construction documents
  • Work closely with engineers and architects on institutional, commercial, and government projects
  • Manage drawing packages, revisions, markups, and technical coordination
  • Maintain internal drawing standards and support process improvement
  • Assist with internal project coordination and occasional client communication
  • Contribute to a team environment that values communication, quality, and professionalism
