Job summary

A regional government agency in Iqaluit is seeking a Policy, Legislation and Communications Analyst. The role involves designing and implementing policy changes, managing communications, and evaluating departmental effectiveness. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree and at least 2 years of experience in a related field. Fluency in multiple official languages of Nunavut is preferred. Qualifications

  • Two years of related work experience in policy development, legislation, or communications.
  • Completion of a policy development program is an asset.
  • Fluency in more than one of Nunavut’s official languages is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement policy and legislation changes.
  • Evaluate existing departmental policies for effectiveness.
  • Develop and coordinate briefing materials for government sessions.
  • Manage communications services and annual plans.
